Although we are new to the Mosel, we are not new to agriculture and viticulture. In the dry, warm wine regions of Australia it is easy to be sustainably organic but in the cold, wet Mosel valley it is very difficult but none the less imperative. Therefore we are using Biodynamic principles to grow our grapes, not because it is trendy, because it ensures our wines are a better reflection of our terroir, than those who manipulate the balance between the climatic conditions and the ability of the grape to interact with those conditions.
